This lightweight car seat transitions seamlessly from harness booster (10 – 30 kg) to high back booster (14 – 45 kg) to backless booster (18 – 45 kg) and features the Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which adjusts your harness and headrest to 8 height positions, with no rethreading. Graco have tested for all types of mats so you can use any brand car seat mat, towel or thin blanket under and behind the seat. Make sure the seat protection you use does not interfere with the seat belt etc.

How can I fix an uneven harness on my no-rethread Graco car seat?

A very common concern for parents is what to do when it seems that you’ve tightened your child’s car seat and the harness is uneven. One of the straps is tight but the other is still very loose. We would recommend trying these troubleshooting steps below to see if it solves the problem.

No-Rethread Harness Troubleshooting Steps:

When loosening the harnesses pull both harness straps out at the same time, pulling one side can cause them to become uneven.
Next, we would like to walk you through the steps of resetting the Harness Straps.
First, raise the head rest to the highest position, fully loosen the harnesses and then fully tighten them.
You will then need to lower the head rest to lowest position, fully loosen the harnesses and then fully tighten them.
Repeat these steps one more time.
